Someone recently posted concerning their 'kitchen sink' blend. I couldn't
easily find the thread so I just start a new one.
Over the past 10 days I have been roasting a lot for family. We have had a
death in the family and coffee is doing its very small part in providing
some comfort at our gatherings. Last night as I was organizing I combined
the 'tagends' of 7 or 8 different batches into what amounted to about 1/2
pound of what I have discovered is an absolutely delicious, full-bodied and
complex (obviously) blend of coffees. I am getting spice, jasmine and floral
aromatics, nut, caramel, chocolate in varying degrees as the cup evolves and
cools. I should note that included in this blend are one or two batches
that I was not happy with as SO.
I think I will call this my "Serendipity Blend" since I have lucked into one
of the best coffees in recent memory.
