I just got the 32oz Bodum Brazil in Polycarbonate for our vacationing. I've done 2 test batches. A
12oz and a 32oz. Works great for a single mug or a full press! (no plastic taste either.)
Interestingly, I'd thought I'd be using the Swiss Gold FP filter I use on my regular 32oz. Turns out
the Polycarbonate versions come with a totally different plunge system. It's a 1 piece with some
time of nylon or clearish something synthetic on the outside diameter. Extremely clean plunge. Guess
the regular plungers would scratch the caraf surface, not going to test the theory though. (Got the
unit directly from Bodum's website. There are many many many FP models by Bodum!)
The 10oz was a Kona other than SM roasted LFC (light full city), the 32oz Kona Kowali Blue also
LFC(SM) this evening. I do like my Kona's. Especially fresh roasted with 2-3 days rest.
MM;-)
