Interesting that the Hawaii Kona XF - Kealakekua Coffee Co., new to the SM
menu, is listed as Guatemala Typica. Might that be a slight typo?
There are just way too many new coffees arriving! Too much temptation.

The coffee plants introduced to Kona way back when were Guatemala typica
(don't make me look up the date;-), though now commonly referred to as Kona
typica. Tom was checking up on people's coffee history!

What was the date you referred to miKe? No wonder I like Kona, er... Guat
... er Kona so well. Really, the two have quite different flavors but if I
could choose from only two, I think Guatemalan and Kona would be the two.

The date of "way back when";-)
Maybe seemingly bizarre, if I could choose only too coffees it'd be Kona &
Sumatra.
Agreed Quat' & Kona very different in the cup. Quite likely primarily result
of the unique soil and growing conditions of each area, possibly partly
mutations may have occurred with the Kona typica in 100+ years.
