Topic: OT simple blended iced coffees (52 lines)

Sorry to post OT (on topic), but since it's summer thought some people might
want to give this a try. Simply and excellent, vary using powdered white
chocolate, dark chocolate or extract of choice & turbinado sugar.
Yields ~ two 15oz beverages.
Pull three double ristrettos or two normales, ~4oz total, place in fridge to
cool a bit
(I prefer "livley" shots like City+ to LFC Kona:-)
To blender add:
1c half & half
4T white chocolate powder (or dark chocolate)
*or 1t vanilla extract (or other extract) and 3T turbinado sugar
Pulse blend very briefly on low
Add 14 ice cubes (more or less as needed)
(Our cube maker slighter over 1/2oz each, atleast just tested and 4 cubes
melted to slighly over 2oz water)
Add the chilled shots
Blend on high 'till milk shake consistency
Serve as is or sprinkled with fresh ground nutmeg, cinnamon, chocolate
shavings or whatever you choose. Whipped creamed a great way to kick it a
notch entertaining, but only when infused with Turkish ground coffee of same
used for shots:-)
Adult variation: add a non-espresso shot of choice before blending. One good
one a white chocolate version with shot of dark rum finished with touch of
ground nutmeg and smidgen of allspice. (At least Debi says it's really good
since I don't do alcohol)
Now back to Foodsaver vac bagging all those frozen blueberries:-)
Hmmm, just might have to put the Bric' & blender to work first!
