Anyone drinking the new CoE from Columbia yet? I would love to get a
temping report. I have not had a cup of coffee, I mean homeroast, in
4 days. I got the flu or food poisoning, I don't know which, but the
results were killer stomach ache and I will spare you the rest of the
story. Things are back to normal and I am looking forward to a nice
cup in the morning. One of those hidden Gems that I will report on
after some more testing and possibly a reorder!

Les I think Tom understated this coffee, it's really excellent and I
am partial to the Kenya's, but this grabbed my attention The coffee
has the boldness of a Kenya and with mulitiple layers of fruited
notes. The raisin notes are strong, with layers of pear and peach
like he describes As it cools I taste a sweet clove aftertase . I
roasted this in the BBG and stopped the roast about 15 sec after the 1st
crack. The second batch I roasted to a FC and I picked up the concord
grape and more chocolate, maple syrup and molasses sweetness and the
complexity was there but not in the layers that I had in the City
roast. I blended it
50/50 like Tom suggested and what a cup.
