Topic: Chemex & Sylvia (22 lines)
1) From: Steve Hay
What a day!
First, I get a really good deal on a Sylvia, my first non-lever espresso
machine. (My La Pavoni Europiccola is hard to use as a newbie, I'm hoping to
come back to it after learning from Miss Sylvia) Then I find an absolute
steal on a Chemex. (Actually, 5 Chemex's: I'm way too impulsive today).
Tried the Chemex just now and I like it. I think I'll try some side by
sides with other methods to see if I can detect a difference. The cup was
very clean. It would be interesting to compare it to a TV with paper cone.
That will tide me over while my mouth waters for Miss Silvia..
