The autofill sensor should be the only item on the top of the boiler with a
single wire attached. Usually somewhere near the vacuum and over pressure
valves. True for all HX machines IIRC and steam boiler on dual boiler
machines. Simple to verify. First force autofill by purging hotwater wand
until fill kicks in to make sure boiler at normal full fill level. (Unless
your machine's hotwater uses an HX instead of boiler water then more
difficult to trigger boiler fill, purge lots of steam!) Next turn machine
off. Then disconnect autofill sensor wire. Turn machine back on. As soon as
machine's electronics initialize autofill should start and continue until
turning the machine off.
