Just brewed some ... the aroma from this cup is nothing short of seductive and the experience of the taste does not disappoint. I cannot believe that this coffee is DECAF! If I had to drink only decaf, I now know that I could as long as Sweet Maria's keeps supplying this caliber of coffee! Gotta go get another cup ...
Eddie, Are you sure it's decaf? I thought that the horse wasn't. On 8/12/06, Eddie Dove wrote: <Snip>
The bag says decaf and the beans have the dark color of decaf. Here is the linkhttp://www.sweetmarias.com/coffee.others.decafs.html#hararWPdecafOn 8/14/06, Steven Sobel wrote: <Snip>
Eddie, You are letting the cat out of the bag! I noticed supply is getting low too! The decaf is good stuff. The African Highland Decaf is another really good one too. Les On 8/14/06, Eddie Dove wrote: <Snip>
Thanks for the link. I thought that all Harar horse was caffeinated. Now I can try something late at night without worrying about the caffeine. On 8/14/06, Eddie Dove wrote: <Snip>

All coffee is caffeinated to some degree, and I am one that hates to alter or adulterate the composition of a beverage of which I'm so fond. Unlike automotive gasoline, for which you had to pay the refiners to leave out the Tetraethyl lead additive (easily worthwhile and the market bore the charge), caffeine, like teeth, has to be removed. Phooey on that- There are at least two solutions for people that have to worry about consuming caffeine late night: 1.) - Don't even grind the beans til after midnight, local time. Assuming it's a new roast and this is the first brew, this will be a real early morning cuppa or shot. The diagonally opposite part of the day. 2.) - Whatever greens you have, treat them like decaffeinated beans. Roast, rest, grind and brew just like decaf.
