Ann, think dessert and/or afternoon munchies. (Dave & Pat bringing veggie
tray and dips, Debi made some "Friends" vanilla walnut sweet bread so I
didn't make biscotti, two people will be going home with some of the 10 day
cycle sweet bread starter Saturday ;-)
The concert kind of slipped my mind so won't have time tonight to make a
Kona Mocha Flourless Torte or Kona Mocha Cheesecake or whatever...
Back from the store and already cleaned and trimmed the 'shrooms for the
kabobs. Off to prep the Walla Walla sweet onions for the mornings kabob
building and other stuff yet to do...

Ok, I'm bringing homemade ice cream. Coffee of course, with ground
chocolate and almonds. I'll bring hot fudge and whipping cream for
those who want it.
Back to the drooling. Not in the ice cream, I promise.
Just can't wait!

Congrats, Barry! Grandchildren are the most amazing creatures. I
just finished dancing with my 18 month old grandson, Jack to "Brand
New Day" by Sting. It is our daily ritual on my days off. The
tradition started with my now almost 5 year old granddaughter, Hana.
But, they've been living with us since May and it will be nice to go
to a party and converse with "adults" about one of my favorite
subjects. I think I need to use that term loosely!
Take care,
Ann

Sorry,
No antelope. We ran out of ice and didn't take any game as the
temperatures went into the high 90's and we were 4 hours from ice. I
had a wonderful hunt. I was less than 40 yards from over 70 wild
animals and had a wonderful "song dog" (coyote) concert each night.
Sealed ground coffee and the areo press worked great.

Well, I have the double layer, Brazilian torte, with homemade
chocolate all finished up and cooling. One layer is "traditional"
chocolate torte, the other is mocha with 3 shots of Yellow Bourbon in
the mix, all layered and topped with homemade fresh praline paste.

Ann you are in for a real treat. I will have to wait for the spring party.
Then I can see my new granddaughter born Aug 25 in Portland 5 lbs 10 oz.
