The Gesha Panama is a fantastic atypical Panama, but not a classic Panama. Used to see Sweet Maria offerings of exceptional Typica & Bourbon Panamas, last couple years seems mostly Caturra and or Catuai which just don't cut it for my tastes. I miss them and I know they're still out there... Mike, I think they have moved to Guatemala! All three of the current offerings on SM from Guatemala are Typica and Bourbon. I usually don't care for coffee from Guatemala, but this year I have been enjoying them like the old Panama coffees. I really like the special picking for Sweet Marias, Guatemala Antigua Peaberry "Maria Especial". To me it has hints of St. Helena coffee. It makes a good SO ristretto in my opinion. Again, thanks for last Saturday. Les On 9/6/06, miKe mcKoffee wrote: <Snip>
