Topic: First Roaster (3 msgs / 54 lines)
1) From: Jeffrey W Johnston
I have come to enjoy the pleasures of home grinding and espresso over the
past few months. Never knew what I was missing. I have a Gaggia MDF and a
Gaggia Carezza.
Now am going to step up to home roasting. I have ordered a Fresh Roast +8
for Sweet Maria's. Having some second thoughts about this roaster. We dri=
nk
a 12 cup Cuisinart drip pot daily. Prefer my Javarather hearty.
I am most concerned about the roast quantity limitation, but also have wi=
fe
imposed budget constraints.
Might I be wise to return the +8 and move to the IRoast to gain larger ro=
ast
batches, or am I on track with the +8 as my first roaster.
I simply don't want to be distraught after a couple of weeks.
But if the +8 will serve my needs for a reasonable time with satisfactory
results, I'll stick with it.
Thanks for any thoughts.
