Bought a 2 pounder to fill out a Harvey order. Didn't like it. Left it =
on the counter and forgot about it. Just tried it again after 10 day =
roast time. If I still didn't like it I was going to pitch it. Talk =
about a late blooming roast. It took 10 full days to be a really good =
shot. Not my favorite but certainly very good. I guess the lesson is for =
Horse let it age a while. For me I salvaged 2 lbs of it.

No SO but only 2 lbs so wasn't going to mess with it plus it's such a =
weird coffee wasn't even going to save it to gift out for the holidays. =
Am on severe stash reduction. If aged 10 days it's worth keeping as a =
SO.

Barry,
I don't know what temp you are pulling shots at, but I found that the
Green Strip likes a cooler temp than the other SO horses. I am
pulling shots at 200-201. I liked it so much I bought a 10 pounder!

That's funny. I was pulling it at 95 C. and found it bitter. Moved it up to
96 and found it much improved. Perhaps it's because I am nearer to the
equator than you?

Different roast, different tastes?? How dark did you take your roast?
I roasted mine at a city plus.

A few snaps into 2nd

I did mine to C+ maybe getting close to FC but no 2nd at all. Liked it at 24
hours. Loved it from 48 hours through 1 week. Never saw day 10 to compare.

"Never saw day 10 to compare." me, too!
But I've got most of a Fiver of Lot 30, and all of 5 of Green Stripe.
Got a Job fair in the morning or I'd roast a coupla pounds- but this Bolivia
Or Ce Pb is really exploding in flavor- the 2ndary flavor is really a
tantalizing- fragrant mellow coffee- What can I say? roasted C+ on 2nd Aug.
Cheers, and thanks for roasting and ageing tips -RayO, aka Opa!

I've found with the "blueberry" harars, I get more fruit after a few days
rest if I only roast to City +.

Agreed. The only problem is, none lasted past four days. I usually kill
it after 1st crack is done.
