Yes. This was mentioned a month or so ago. It seems to be a trait  
with peaberries in general. My beloved Indian(a) Matadakad Peaberry  
is the same: listening as intently as I can, I still hear only faint  
and sparse cracks during first. I found this also with the  
Gethumbwini and another I don't recall offhand; a couple of folks on  
this list also noticed the same thing. Funny thing is, check out the  
beans after the roast, and you'll see that there are indeed cracks at  
the ends of the seams. They're just not split open as wide.
