Wesley,
I just roasted some of that last Saturday and never heard a peep! Mind you
though, I am half deaf and am using a Gene Cafe, but nada. I even listened
next to the chaff collector as advised by Mr. Van Dyke, but nothing.
By the way, this was a fantastic tip and it really helped me alot! Many,
many thanks Steve.

Now I'm confused ...
Kenya Auction Lot 503 - Gethumbwini Peaberry
Kenya AA Auction Lot 503 -Rui Ruiru
Would someone explain this to me?
Thanks for the help,
Eddie

The Lot 503 Rui Ruiru and the Lot 434 Kithungururu are coop coffees.
The coops sell various lot numbers of coffee. The Gethambwini is not
a coop coffee, but is a true Kenya Estate coffee from the Thika
region. The Gethambwini come from one farm, thus no Lot number.

I was referring to the Rui Ruiru. Should have been specific. Sorry.
