Good Evening,
I know this is kind of last minute...but this Saturday I will be
hosting a coffee tasting event here in Woodstock, Illinois. Anyone in
the area is welcome to come. I will be FPing various coffees I've
roasted. This is being sponsored by my work, for employees, but the
public is welcome too.
If you would like more information, you can contact me off list.

Would like to follow up on this...A fun time was had by those that
came. The overall preferred method of brewing wqs the FrenchPress. I
did have the AeroPress, but am not proficient at it. I was able to
get two of the Rival hot pot's to keep the FP brewing. Many folks had
never had AFP'd coffee and were very pleased at the taste; maybe it
had to due with the coffee too!
Several people mentioned that this type of event would be nice to
have on a regular basis. I'll have to talk with several of the local
'upscale' restarants and see if they would be interested in hosting
an event; or maybe like was mentioned on recent a CoffeeGeek pod-
cast, work with them to upgrade their coffee program to something
better than Superior coffee.
May the new year find you all safe.
