magazine (which they talk about in the podcast) is available online:http://www.imbibemagazine.com/feat_3.html-Jeff

Indeed sounds like it! At first thought maybe it was just recorded some time
ago but it's a different DP Yirg' mentioned than was carried earlier this
year.

I wondered about time delay as well, but then Tom mentioned having just
returned from Peru, so I'm looking forward to more Gesha.

From the Sweet Maria site, for those who haven't visited for the past
day or two:
9/20: As to the note above (we are not shipping order Thursday and
Friday ... Maria and I really need a little mini-vacation) I also
wanted to add that we have some new arrivals that came in last minute,
too late to add this week. I will upload them Monday in the afternoon.
We have our Cup of Excellence Nicaragua lots, as well as the #1 CoE
coffee from Guatemala this year. We also have a new Costa Rica, and a
unique El Salvador lot I sourced there this year. Sorry about the
teaser, but some would be disappointed to order now, then see those
pop up on Monday PM. - Tom

Yes, the podcast interview was great and the article was interesting,
too. I am always fascinated by how people get their start in a
particular field. It gives one more appreciation for them.

I especially liked the part about the clash between Tom and the
general coffee drinking public, illustrated by Tom's failure to "even
put milk out", to loosely quote Maria. And later, as bags of coffee
started replacing tables, Tom hiding under his desk to avoid the
customers, who looked in through the window and called Tom on their
phones: "Dude, I can SEE you...".
