Topic: First cup of Geisha (3 msgs / 39 lines)
1) From: Dennis & Marjorie True
I just roasted my first batch of Geisha to C+ and after 8 hours the
aromatics are AWESOME!!! Wifes first comment was it smells like a
bourbon/ whiskey smell. I made my first cup and I must say that is is a
good cup but not a GREAT cup. what is the ideal rest time that everyone
else has found so far? I know there is more hiding in here I just want
to know when to start really looking...
Thanks,
    Dennis

Z&D roasted? Tough to say when it'd peak and it tends to mute acidity with
it's long roasts. But I'd expect Gesha's real complexities to really start
to shine 3 or 4 days or so.

first not know. And in knowing know I know not. Each Personal enlightenment

four days! Wait four days! I wish I had followed Mike's normal profile and
waited 3 days.
