If I've never said it on the list - my wife is WONDERFUL. She ordered a
Gene Cafe as a 15th anniversary gift. Our anniversary is still several
weeks away, but she wanted me to have it so I will have plenty of time to
roast for holiday gifts. I don't know if I can wait for brown to arrive -

Congrats on your 15th! Did you get the Gene Café with the crystal =
drum? I
had to 'settle' for a silver 'colored' Bricoletta for our 25th last =
year!
(Well, was a couple months after on not technically for our anniversary =

sounded good:-)

When I asked the her what SHE wanted for our anniversary her reply was music
to my ears... "order some green coffee that you know I will like". Now, to
just remember what it was she liked so well.

Gregg,
Don't screw this up! You have to spend at least as much on her as she did
on you! $500.00+ worth of green beans, and you should certainly find at
least a few that she likes.
Just trying to help ...

Perfect excuse. Since she's such an "excellent" wif make sure and order all
currently available Cup of Excellence coffees. Plus any she specifically
requested of course:-) I'd make and include little "certificates" titled
something cheesy like "Excellent Coffee for My Excellent Wife" then the CoE
Coffee name etc and include Tom's write ups. And since it IS your crystal
anniversary make sure and also get yourselves a pair of really nice crystal
coffee cups and or demies, seriously!

And again, congratulations. (You too Ray for 35! Now that's reason to dance
a jig:-)

Awesome.. My birthday is coming up and I get to go to Hawaii. The bad news
is that it is for work and involves 3 18 hour days bookended with extensive
air travel. :)
The Gene looks like an awesome machine. I think it may be the first of a
next generation of roasters.

Happy early anniversary. And Barry - happy belated birthday. My husband
and I are going out of town for the first time in ages (alone, sans
munchkins) - going to NYC and seeing the Wedding Singer on Broadway (we're
kids of the 80's) - staying overnight.
I'm sure it will be wonderful, but then I think about how far the money
would go towards a shiny new espresso machine. :)

What terrific ideas - I especially like the idea of ordering $500 worth of
beans and a crystal coffee cup. I'm currently working on a coffee setup for
her office - hummm, maybe it should be a Technovorm for the office.
