I have never been a big coffee drinker, but recently purchased and aeropress some greens and began roasting with a sc/to i am hooked on the single and double shots of concentrated brew, my wife loves the stuff which is a plus. I was wondering how everyone else drinks the brew out of the aeropress i use the same 1tsp sugar, 2 tsp half and half per shot of concentrate and keep that constant and am loving trying the different coffees have only tried a few so far. I tried making a standard americano and it seemd watered down and weak in comparison to the richness of the shot of aeropresso and freshroasted beans. I could probably ditch the half and half but not the sugar, actually thinking of trying the 18or 20 percent cream instead of the 10.5% half and half. Just curiouse how everyone else drinks there brew? jerry walker jdwalk6359 EarthLink Revolves Around You.
I drink it straight or iced, maybe with milk in the iced version. Bill On 10/7/06, jerry walker wrote: <Snip>
Instead of adding water to make an "Aerocano", try using more water in the Aero. This will increase extraction efficiency; as long as your roasts aren't dark you're not likely to encounter any problems. Your cup is not likely to be weak. On the other hand, a straight Aeropressing can be pretty tasty -- especially with bright, acidic coffees. When I brew a favorite DP Sidamo, I generally drink it strong and make it last until it's room temperature -- at which point it tastes like fruit juice. I have no idea what KIND of fruit juice -- but that's a Sidamo for ya! - S On 10/7/06, jerry walker wrote: <Snip>
