What happens when a person has a whole day with no plans, a digital
HotTop and a Radio Shack too close for his own good? FrankenTop!

internals completely removed (anyone need a digital hop top control panel?).
The heating element is driven by a PID with 8 different available heating
ramp stages for profile control. It is currently tracking within a few
degrees of its ramps set points. It will very shortly be connected to a
laptop for real time roast control and monitoring.
The cooling trays stirring motor and cooling fan are controlled by
the yellow and green switches on the left.
The roast eject is controlled by the red switch in the center.
The roasting chamber drum motor and cooling fan are controlled by
the yellow and green switches on the right.
