Topic: capresso infinity (6 msgs / 132 lines)

I think the list is pretty active today, and funny too. anywho I had questioned those in
the know...about the capresso infinity. I may get one tomorrow (if I am home to sign
for it I hear from ups) heard from a couple of people on this list a while back that had
one and that they liked it alot. anyone else have one? I read rayo's post about the
lightbulb and realize maybe I have not saved long enough(whoops) for the rocky
or tranquillo or something more beefy. however I have bought two different hand crank
grinders from (shudder) ebay and both produced boulders and powder (zass and DE-VE)
so instead of buying another possible POS from ebay bought a capresso "for a few
dollars more" so my post (which went largely unnoticed) is here again does anyone have
anything good to say about the capresso? I will have it in my hands tomorrow or saturday
I hope. (I dont even want to ask if I should clean it before I use it and what kind of rice to use)

I have used a Capresso Infinity for a year and think it's great. With
a cleaning once a week including washing out the grounds container to
decrease static electricity it gets me the right grind for my KMB and
Aeropress. It has 16 grind settings. The parts are easy and cheap to
replace if needed, but no need yet. It's a good value for the price.
Take care,
Nancy

I've had my Infinity now for about a year and its been great. Coarse =
grind and medium, no powder and no boulders.
Feel better?

Aahhahahahha! My wife is looking at me weird because I'm sitting here
laughing to myself. I couldn't help it after reading the botom of this
email "(I dont even want to ask if I should clean it before I use it and

I hear the Infinity works better grinding beans than a hammer. (And does a
right decent job for grinding needs coarser than espresso.;-)
