Topic: Stash Augmentation (10 msgs / 148 lines)

Would the opposite of stash reduction be "stash augmentation?"
Whatever you call it, it's time for me to order more greens.
Here's what my list includes so for:
Idido Misty Valley
Brazil YB
Lekempti
El Salvador Juan Franscisco
Monkey Blend (had the most amazing MB capp on Saturday, yum)
What other "gems" am I missing?

I think it's "coffee bean mail enhancement"

Well, another fantastic cap' coffee not on your list is a winey Kenya like
Kenya Auction Lot 503 - Gethumbwini Peaberry. Quite good Americano too.
Maybe add at least one of the heirloom varietal Guats too, especially 100%
Bourbon or Bourbon Typica mix.

Thanks Mike, Good idea on the Kenya. I haven't tried any since getting
my machine.
For the Guat. is Agua Tibia a good choice?
I'm gonna need a bigger box.

Don't know on the Finca Agua Tibia Guat'. I just recently got it and the
Peaberry Maria Especial but haven't roasted any of the Tibia yet. Actually
haven't roasted this year's Especial Peaberry either, finishing off what I
got 11/05 which is good. (for a wussy Central:-) FWIW I mostly Americano not
cap' or straight shot the Guats.
Now back to roasting, half pounder Brazil Cachoeira YB next batch...

The Ethiopia FTO Yirgacheffe - Oromia is exquisite. If there is any room
left in the box, add more Ethiopia Organic Idido Misty Valley. If there is
no more room in the box, make a second Harvey order for 12 pound of the
Ethiopia Organic Idido Misty Valley.

I used to love Sumatra coffees, but now any and all Ethiopian coffees are my
favorite. Out of the 35 different kinds of green beans I have stashed in my
cupboard, 5 of them are 5 different kinds of Ethiopian beans.

I gave up trying to pick a favorite region or bean.
They all are good, and each type has it's own special qualities that
makes it unique and enjoyable.
Then there are so many different ways you can roast and prepare the
coffee it adds even more versatility.
My favorite coffee ? Yes

miKe,
You said, "finishing off what I got 11/05 which is good. (for a wussy
Central:-) FWIW I mostly Americano not cap' or straight shot the Guats."
Intrigued by "wussy Central" ... mostly Americano. Please explain.
Respectfully,
Eddie
