Topic: Rwanda FT - sad it's sold out! (4 msgs / 63 lines)
1) From: Sheila Quinn
It turns out that I really LOVE this coffee. I got a pound of it in my
last sampler pack and was surprised by it. For some reason, I just
didn't expect to like it so much! Was hoping to order more, but it's
already sold out. What a bummer. I will be eagerly awaiting the next crop.
Anyone else here who loves this coffee, too?
Sheila

I also recieved this one in my last sampler and enjoyed it very much. Went
thru the 1/2 pound quick. I will be keeping an eye out for it also.

I did not like this coffee at first as we discussed earlier. However as I
finished the last batch I must admit that it grew on me. A lighter C+ roast
and a coarser grind in the French Press did the trick. I did have a magic
moment with this coffee. It has earned my respect. I am glad to hear that
you liked it.

It's getting a bit on in age. New crop is around the corner. I
already cupped a pure Bourbon Rwanda arrival, but just couldn't get
excited about it. clean, balanced, but lacked character. I have 4
micro lots lined up that we get to "chery pick" from so hopefully one
of those will be extra nice. Thats about 1 month away.
