Topic: Vintage Pour Over Brewer (3 msgs / 51 lines)
1) From: Dan Kellgren
I ran up to my local rummage store looking for any discarded gems today and
found this little vintage brewer. It's called a "Tricolette French Drip
Coffeemaker" by Tricolator. It's simply just a pour over style brewer where
you have a top funnel type holder that you put a paper filter in and pour
water over the grounds through. It was cheap ($3) and looked interesting so
I picked it up. I'm a devoted French PRESS users myself, but thought this
might an interesting thing to play with. I scanned some pics too:http://users.zoominternet.net/~kellgrenweb/tricolette.htmlAny comments on this particular brewer?

nice fine, I use a similar cone myself in the morning and brew directly =
into my thermos.

Hard telling from the photo. The key performance factors are large
holes in the bottom, and substantial fluting on the sides.
