Who's Harvey and what is his connection with shipping? Is there something about
reasonably-sized bean orders (2-3 lbs + 8/sampler) that I should know before I
place my order?
thx.

There is a shipping option "Customer pickup - Hold for Harvey ($9.00)". It
means that via USPS for $9.00, you can get up to 12 pounds of beans (and
matching cotton bags) shipped rather quickly. No guarantees, but it usually
arrives at my home on the coast of Mississippi in 2-3 day where UPS ground
takes at least 10 days.

It's their "code name" for Flat Rate USPS Priority Mail - up to 12
pounds of coffee, plus matching cloth bags - nothing else. If you live a
great distance from California, it can save you some money on Priority
Mail.
