Ann's Tradition Offering of 5 lbs. Harar Lot #30 and 1 lb of her special =
Zigzag blend arrived sometime late yesterday while we were away. We =
were excited enough to find the box of coffee in our garage last night, =
but when we opened it and discovered that the Zigzag blend had already =
been roasted, we really got excited! I've wanted to try another home =
roaster's coffee for several months now so this was a real treat.
Ann, it's probably a good thing I didn't know that you had pre-roasted =
the zigzag or I might have been hounding the UPS people to get their act =
together and get that coffee to my house--at once! Even sooner. :-)
The Zigzag smelled strongly of dark chocolate and roasted peanuts when I =
opened the bag. What a great aroma that was! Could barely wait to get =
some ground and brewed in the vac' pot. I was not disappointed, either! =
The coffee had great body with chocolate undertones and seemingly =
layers of flavors. It also had a very pleasant, lingering after-taste =
that has stayed with me all day making me want more, more, more! This =
coffee could quickly become addictive!
Ann, you really have a winner with this blend. As much as I like the =
Horse Harar, I'm already thinking that it would have been an even bigger =
win for me if I'd won five pounds of your zigzag blend instead of the =
Horse.
Thanks a million, Ann! We are in coffee heaven!
Gerald

Sounds heavenly! We really have some generous people on this list, don't
we?
