I spent Saturday afternoon with Mike McKofee and Just Plain Mike. Mike M =
pulled some great shots on his Bric. Then we went for a nice Japanese =
dinner. then back to Mikes house for more shots. Three grown men spent 5 =
and on half hours talking only about coffee and coffee related subjects. =
The last two hours were spent on the best way to build a roaster and =
espresso machine from scratch I had a great time . Of course my wife =
can't believe that all we talked about was coffee for all that time. =
She's right we really didn't do it justice. Fellows we need at least =
another 5 hours or so. I wonder if we could arrange a coffee retreat.

I feel left out! But wait a minute, Alchemist John and I are planning a
"lever mania" get together this weekend! If you haven't gotten over to
home-barista in a while, you might want to check out the Pavoni that
Alchemist modified so you can read the pressure of the "pump" (lever) during
the pull.

That's the rub. I have my speech written for when I win The World Series =
of Poker. "Winning the tournament was easy. Getting my wife to retire =
will be the hard part."

Thanks but Lois is one of my treasures even more than coffee. There I =
said it and I'm glad.

Good for you, Barry. Today is Dan and my 32nd anniversary of meeting.
We'll be married 32 years in April. He's a true partner and I'm
hoping we die together. He drives me everywhere and I told him I need
him to hold my hand while he drives me to heaven.
I'm hoping for snow, Mike (just plain). We're up to 18 inches of rain
so far in November, recorded a couple miles from us as the crow flies.
Temp is currently 36 degrees andhttp://www.my-cast.comshows a bunch
of moisture coming from the NW. Hope it brings the temps down just a
few more degrees. I don't care if it sticks, I just want some "white
rain" for a change of pace.
Got my coffee roasted to bring to my sis-in-laws tomorrow. Giving
lots away to family, but I'm $30 richer from coffee sales at work
today. And SMs site has been luring me for visits. I'm one pound
under the 200 lb level and getting itchy.
Have a good Thanksgiving all. ]
Take care,
Ann

Actually, we are moving to Portland. I'm transfering to our office there. Up
looking for houses mid-December with a Jan 15 start date. Soon I hope to be
able to crash these parties...or host them.
