Ok....
I'm almost ready to give up and pass the rest of my Lot 30 to someone
with more skill. I have yet to get even the slightest hint of
blueberry. I thought I'd managed just the tiniest whif the other day
and then I noticed my wife was eating cereal with blueberries in it
and it had nothing to do with the coffee... ugh.
I am now roasting with a Hot Top...unmodified... practically new.
Does anyone have a log giving your ambient temp...how long you
roasted, etc. (in a HOT TOP) (I have the analog model).
Thanks! :-)
Grace and Peace,
  `tim

I roasted three pounds of this last weekend to FC in my drum. After a few
days rest, it was blueberry, blueberrry, blueberry! BUT...I gave 1/4 lb to
someone I work with and they were unable to taste any blueberry. Go
figure. I think I hit the most powerful blueberry taste I've ever had with
this roast. One thing I did different was to extend out the roast time. It
actually took longer than I would have liked: 19 minutes.

It has been my experience that the longer you rest this stuff (read not taking off the top) for a week, 10 days or longer gets you the elusive blueberry.
ginny
with you hot top I would make sure I did darker roast as well, city plus, plus, plus maybe just don't burn it.
