Anyone know where I can get a good espresso in NYC? I've had some there =
that I thought were good but I still don't know if I've had the best!

The five best shops I hit while I was in NYC (in order of
quality/personally) are as follows.

Ninth Street Espresso
Buon Italia
Via Quadronno
Joe the Art of Coffee
Cupcake Cafe

All are worth going to if you're near. I had other iffy espressos, but
these five all did a good job. Cafe Grumpy recently opened, and that was
another I'd wanted to hit, but did not. Their baristas have a blog in fact,
and I guess they're friends with tne 9th street folks. Cupcake Cafe also
obviously has cupcakes, and they're really damn good. I had a walnut
cupcake with maple butter cream icing.

Try Sicaffe on Lexington & 70th street. They have another shop
downtown, I believe. The baristi here take pride in their work and
serve all milk drinks with latte art... It tastes good, too :-)
One block further uptown is Oren's Daily Roast. I don't like the fact
that they serve espresso in paper cups.. The coffee is fresh roasted, though..
