Topic: Beans talking to me again... (4 msgs / 121 lines)
1) From: miKe mcKoffee
Was contemplating what to grind for my second cup of the morning when this
short rested jar started whispering to me. (47hrs rested vac jarred) Started
to reach for a different coffee at 6 days rest (Guat' Antigua PB) and the
whispering became more urgent. Touched the 6 day rested jar and them 47hr
young beans forcefully insinuated their sirens song snapping my hand away
from the Guat' and of it's own accord taking that really not quite rest
ready jar off the shelf.
Just finishing a quite delightful (though not quite fully developed) Panama
Gesha Americano as I type... Dangerous stuff that just wouldn't be ignored!

first not know. And in knowing know I know not. Each Personal enlightenment

Mike,
The Gesha talked to me this morning too, It pushed the nicely rested El
Salvador right to the side! I Technovirm brewed it however, I will pull
some nice shots on Christmas Eve.

I brew one coffee for the week as I'm the only drinker in the house, you
guys have have a venerable menu on hand to choose from. I am so envious!

Not here. We brew at least 2, sometimes 3 pots of drip a day (son's
friend, who lives with us, will drink an entire pot herself in the
morning). I pull about 4-5 double shots a day, plus an Aeropress or
two of decaf at night. We go through about 2 lb. of beans a
week......and I promised homeroast for Christmas dinner (and will
probably give some as gifts). Just did a lb. of espresso beans this
morning--will let the i-Roasts cool for a couple of hours, spread
tinfoil over the stove and haul out the SC/TO too. Good thing it's
over 40 degrees outside, so I can open the windows and the back door,
because there's gonna be a lot of smoke.
