From today's Honolulu Advertiser-- Kona blends are soon to be 75% Kona =
rather than 10%.http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061221/B=USINESS11/612210318/1071/BUSINESS

Wow, that just seems el cheapo to me.
I can see the 10 percent blend... ie the poor mans kona, but even then
they charge you a bit for that crap.
75% why..... you are almost there, for the price you will pay for that
amount of genuine kona to begin with, why not spend the extra probably
dollar at this point and get the 100% real thing... No need to worry
what evil they mix it with then to lower the price.
Sounds to me like it almost might be a ploy to force the consumption of
kona up, drive it to a 'shortage' of kona and slam the prices.
Doesn't really make sense to me.

I was thinking the same thing... with that much (75%), why bother? Just
go for the 100% Kona and be done with it. Why spoil it with 25% of
something else just to save a dollar? Seems pointless to me.
But the 10% blends seem like a complete rip-off. Why bother with that
either?
