I only a few minutes before I begin my packing day, once again. But I
had to tell you guys about my day yesterday.
I sold some of my furniture (hip, hip, hooray!!!), but also met some
really nice people. Sold my mesquite dining set (sniff, sniff - loved
it, but it went to a good home) to someone who asked to take along my
resume, since her husband works at one of the Boston hospitals.
I also shared some coffee w/two women who bought one of my sofas and
some Christmas trees (don't ask - I had a little Christmas forest here
this year, since I purchased lots of them during last yr's sales). They
said it was the best coffee they'd ever had - I told them about Sweet
Marias, and one may be buying some roasted coffee from SM (didn't even
THINK of suggesting that I could sell some of mine - brain isn't
working these days!).
It was good to hear that someone else enjoyed my homeroast - even with
my little stove top pan roasting technique. (There are times I still
wonder if I actually know what I am doing...)
Oh, it was also interesting - I opened some jars to show them how great
the coffee smells - and for the very first time I could (so could they)
smell the blueberry in the Misty Valley! Can't taste it, but I smelled
it!

Ha! Loved that one...
No, I don't have any Bug - but I have SO much to keep trying (thanks to
Linda and Jeremy), so I am not lacking by any means!

Speaking of blueberries in the Misty valley... I had a batch a few weeks
ago C to C+ that was WONDERFUL in the cup lots of fruit.. When I got
near the bottom of the bag I decided to "cut it" with the Bug I had at 5
days from roasting for both that was the riches smoothest cup I have
roasted to date... I mean WOW from a drip bunn no less I had to make 3
pots in 2 hours just to get a break because that spread like wildfire
amongst my "followers"
Oh they want more so now weekly I do a 1 to 2 ratio of (1 part)Misty
Valley C to(2 parts)Bug C++ as long as I don't run out of the Bug (have
about 4# left until next season) I have found the one coffee that gets
them all every time.
If you have both give them a try. I actually think the Bug actually
helps create a richer fruit in the cup.
