I first saw this episode early last year (i.e. 2006). When it came on today I watched it again (switching back and forth between the Rose Bowl (go USC!) and the History Channel) and picked up a few things I didn't remember from the firsttime. There's a coffee shop in Long Beach, CA, called Polly's that has one of the original German commercial coffee roasters. Goggling for it I see it's in Belmont Shores. I'll have to swing by there and check it out.

Thanks for posting, Beth. I clicked on the Program Guide on my home
theater PC ( http://www.terryshometheater.com/htpc/home-theater-pc-1.php), found
the entry from a few hours ago, clicked on View Additiional Airings,
and set it to tape at 11pm. All that took about 45 seconds. Love it!
I only have one VCR in the house now, instead of the 4 that I used to
have. The VCR is in the bedroom and all the tapes in the den. That
tells you how much it gets used...
I'll watch the Modern Marvels "Coffee" episode later this week.

Does anyone know the title of the show?
I just searched for Coffee and the only thing I found was on the
National Geographic Channel. Searched thru a couple of days on the
history channel and different see anything appropriate. We have Dish
Network.
