Topic: Archives search & Hearthware Gourmet repair (2 msgs / 46 lines)

Is there a searchable version of the list archive available someplace? =
The
archives athttp://lists.sweetmarias.com/mailman/private/homeroast/=
don't
seem to have a seach function (unless it's hidden someplace I can't =
find).
I presume this question has been asked (and answered) before, so a =
pointer
to the correct month in the archives is fine.
What's the most likely failure mode for a Hearthware Gourmet roaster? =
Any
troubleshooting/repair instructions around? I inherited an old (vintage =
ca
2003?), but lightly used Hearthware Gourmet and ran 6-7 lbs of coffee
through it before it stopped heating in mid-batch. Is this likely to be
something easily repairable (I can solder and do simple electronics =
repairs)
or something like an irreplaceable controller board or a burned out =
heating
coil?
If it's not repairable (and I decide I can put up with continuing to =
have my
house filled with smoke), can anyone recommend a good replacement
(preferably quieter, less smoky, and cheap)?
Tom
