I've never used one of those, Peter, but the KMB coffee tastes quite a
bit different from the coffee you get out of a non-electric stove top
The KMB forces steam up and then into the part of the pot containing the
grounds. Of course it cools and becomes water as it leaves the hollow
frame to enter the grounds area, but it is still different than the
general moka pot experience. I think the KMB makes a livelier cup.
