I know a lot has been posted about this bean already. SM is out
of it now but should be getting more.
I did my second roast of it at a lighter C+/FC. My first roast was
a good FC or maybe a snap of 2nd and it was very good, extremely
balanced, woody etc. This second lighter roast is much different
than the first. It has a bit of a nippy (in a good way) acidity and
I think I can taste the tangerine aftertaste Tom mentions if I use
my imagination which is what I was hoping for. In any case there is
something like that there. And very sweet.
Hope I'm not repeating what anyone else has said but if you have
only tried it at FC+, give it a try at a lighter roast. It's very
special. Now if I can just repeat it in the future.
I like this bean with about 25% Java Prince too.

I roast with an RK Drum. It would be interesting to know
how taste compares with your Gene and RK Drum.
