Congrats Tom and Maria. I was once told there isn't a convenient time
to have children. I agree with that statement.

"A TINY JOY for sure"
That'll change-
Not the JOY, but the TINY!
Mouse over my gmail addy- "Ray" is my grandson Damian, jumping out from
behind a tree to scare mama. The son of my 6'4" baby Dan and wife Gretchen.
He's a trip.
Our Best Wishes to you, and Congratulations! What a blessing you have.
Cheers -RayO, aka Opa!

4) From: Tom & Maria - Sweet Maria's Coffee
Thanks a lot folks ... I am realizing how lucky we are that our home
is adjacent to the warehouse here - I can pop over, do some cupping,
run back, change a diaper, etc. I have a lot to learn but my
"swadling" technique has improved in just 3 days. Anyway, this is
inspiration to make the "espresso monkey" shirt in baby sizes,
something more than a few people have asked for...
Oh, one funny thing... those of you who have visited here know Maria
is a bit off balance (from MS) and walks wobbly with a cane. We were
trying to figure how she can move the little guy around the house,
because when she puts weight on the stroller handle for stability it
lifted the front wheels. She said " if there was weight on the front
it would help" so at 11 last night I went to the warehouse, sewed up
a 20 lb burlap bag of brasil, zipped it one with a few plastic ties
and there you have it, the perfect baby counterbalance - green coffee!
Tom
Oh. i know you're gonna ask *which* Brasil, but actually it was an
old past crop Daterra farm coffee that I use to do test roasts.

You might also get some help from a rehab, PT or OT therapist on assistive
devices
for Maria as fatigue may cause exacerbation of her symptoms.

Guilty. My first thought was "Not Brazil!"
Take care,

I'll add my congratulations, BUT, what I remember of those days (some 40 odd
years ago) is that the whole world smelled of sour milk.
I hope there's a separation of baby and coffee. I gave up adding cream to
my coffee a long time ago.

We used disposable diapers, and to this day anything scented "baby fresh"
makes me think of wet diapers.

9) From: Brett Mason
Having raised seven boys, I can speak to diapers, at length...
We have found genuine *SwissGold* brand diapers in every size available. If
you want to strike a balance between a paper diaper and a full pressed pot,
these permanent diapers might be right for you. Results of a SwissGold
filter are a heavier body, as more oils and particulate matter are suspended
in the pot itself. Yet they do produce clean results that doesn't have the
telltale pot "mud" at the bottom.
I am sure you understand how important this decision is. That's why we
trust Sweet Maria's so much - and Tom, you should too!
Best wishes for a pure pot,
Brett

Congratulations on the baby, glad to hear everyone is healthy.
Maybe the babies initials could be COE - just kidding

Good Luck with the resting (you, not the roast).
