An idea for those of you with heavy espresso machines on your kitchen =
counter. I got tired of trying to clean under my Brewtus. He is 60 some =
odd lbs w/o water. I simply added ceramic chair glides to the 4 corners =
of the machine. I can now slide the machine on my counter without =
worrying about scratching the counter or hurting my back. Clean up of =
spilled water and espresso grounds under the machine is a breeze now.

Hi Barry,
Doesn't he slide around when you lock the portafilter in, or do you
brace it? I've got a la Valentina which, i think, weighs in at around
45 pounds and I can feel the resistance in the rubber feet when I lock
the portafilter.

No problem with the Brute with twin boilers and water it has to be over 70
lbs. It is not permanent. If you don't like it they are removable they go on
with double sticky tape.
