Topic: Storing Aeropress concentrate (2 msgs / 66 lines)
1) From: Howard Schwartz
I bought an Aeropress and used it for the first time today. I was
delighted with the coffee. A question, though. The instructions say you can
make up some concentrate (they call it espresso) and let it sit for a few
days before diluting it to make coffee. Sounds counterintuitive, but
everything about the Aeropress is counterintuitive. Has anybody done that?
If it can be done, how long would the concentrate last before... What?
  Thanks.
Howard

2) From: James
I just got an Aeropress also and like the coffee it brews. Most people avoi=
d storing coffee after brewing in any form. Many of the volatile flavor com=
ponents do not last very long, thus stored coffee is definitely lacking in =
flavor compared to fresh brew.
