This may be a forbidden subject for this list, but check out http://www.slashfood.com/2007/02/07/make-your-own-coffee-syrup/Maybe this falls into the "I don't care what you do with the coffee once it's well brewed." Roger derbyrmhttp://home.insightbb.com/~derbyrm
Oh, see....I love this kind of thing. ;) Thanks. I've made strawberry syrup like this. I wish I'd thought of using it in coffee. Silvia On 2/18/07, derbyrm wrote: <Snip>
Another thing you can do is, leech the cinnamon / vanilla etc in vodka, pour a teaspoon full into your coffee, and while it's not enough to get you drunk or even a buzz, the temp of the coffee will probably vaporize some of the alcohol anyways, it's a great way to get the flavoring into the cup. I have cinnamon and vanilla from my vanilla plant I do this with and add it to my Honey Apple Cyser. Aaron
Wow, where do you live? I have never gotten vanilla to fruit and I used raise orchids. I get my beans off e-bay for a really cheap price. I make my own extract for cooking since I love vanilla and like it really strong.
