This was under the bandwith (sic) thread. Mike probably wasn't
happy I didn't change the subject line so I'm making a new one.
I did have the new crop roasted by a friend and I have the older
2006 crop but they were different roast methods so hard to make
a direct comparison. I loved both of them.

Did you go yet to SM's "review archives" (accessible from a link at
the bottom of the "Green Coffee Offerings" page, I think) and compare
Tom's comments on the older one to the current one?

Nothing in the archives but I know from watching the comments are the
same except this, " It outcupped the mechanical dried lot by a hair
... but an important hair; it has more sweetness and more body."
Sometimes it's nice to hear from the peanut gallery.

I am glad that the new lot is also good because I just ordered 5 lbs of it
last Friday. I have no doubt that I will enjoy it. I sure loved the last
lot. I was the one who orginally posted this question. To me the next lot
of Idido misty valley is a little different than the last but still great.
Getting more citris and less berry.
