Yes OT has been an issue, but not a really bad issue. Those who
absolutely can't tolerate this infraction, need to learn how to set up
filters in their mail. Plenty of folks have already explained how to do
this with just about every e mail OS there is. I bet if you ask again,
someone will be patient enough to walk you through it.
Those who are partaking in an OT post, make sure that OT: is in the
title header somewhere, that way the OT filters can pick it up. Those
that reply to OT posts, Id recommend that you delete the Re: that some
mail programs automatically put in the header because then it reads
Re: OT: bla bla... and some folks can't see past the re: and don't see
that it's OT. Not to mention it's really not a good idea to make a
filter that just jumps on the letters OT globally in the header as if I
were to make a post about chickory root... it'd get nuked because of the
ot in the word root..you get the idea.
Oh, and since this post technically started out as OT from it's
inception because it's not purely about coffee, I went ahead and put
the OT in the header for you as an example.
Mike also had a good idea, if you change the topic in a post, change
the header too.
have a great day.

I enjoyed my on list mention of Pork Butt BBQ cause I thought it added
a touch of spice to the slam...
