I roasted my precious pound this evening.  All went well.  It roasted
like a normal coffee.  There were no surprises.   I used my standard
profile and took it an extra 30 seconds for Tom's suggested city plus.
 A very very nice looking bean in the green and roasted.  You can tell
it has been well prepared.  I sure am glad I have a nice Kona calling
me in the morning, so I can let this rest at least a full 36 hours
before giving it a try.  It has a very nice post roast aroma too.
Anyone else roasted their treasure?

I have not yet, am a little afraid after taking a pound of the El Placer a
wee bit past my intended roast (and ending up in 2nd crack).  But probably
will this weekend.  Hope it warms up outside!

I did 3 roasts - a lb of Liquid Amber and a 1/2 of the Rwanda Migongo
Bourbon, then finished after these 2 warmups with a 1/2 lb of the Huallaga.
Rested a day and a half and had my first sample of this, and it's great.  I
think i went a slightly light of the recommended City+ but the results were
still as Tom described them (not sure what corriander tastes like though ;)
but did get the winey hints and light spice finish).  I was sad when my
thermos was empty but curious to see how another day or two of rest will
do.  Tomorrow I will be enjoying the Rwandan while I wait!

I enjoyed my first cup of the Haullaga today.  I was disappointed with the
first two times I brewed it.  It comes to life after 5 days rest.  This
morning it showed it Cup of Excellence.  It was a bit on the bland and mild
side even as an Americano at Day 3.  Maybe the problem is that the other cup
I was enjoying was the Kona Moki's Farm.  I think this is one that needs a
good rest.
