I just have to throw this out there. To warn you in advance, there's
no technical substance to this email...pure fluff.
Ah, Friday, one more day until Roast Day! I do all my roasting on the
weekends because I do not have the time to fit it in between my weekly
obligations. I usually start riding high on Friday's in anticipation
of this weekends roast. What will I roast for next weeks coffee
experience? How will the bean turn out? How will it handle the heat?
How should I brew it during the week? All these questions start
popping into my head. It's analogous to the visions of sugar plums
that dance through your dreams in the Holiday season. Am I the only
one that gets giddy in anticipation of such a magical culinary
adventure or do I just drink more caffeine than usual on Fridays...

Been doing it for 7 years now Kevin, and I still get excited to do a roast.
This weekend, I'll be trying out some of the guestimates for making the
"Black Cat" blend from Intelligentsia (of course using all coffees purchased
from our hosts). You are mot alone...

That sounds familiar. Roasting saves money, results in better coffee, and it
is fun!
Right folks?
