Vicki,
Is the case cast aluminum? If so, there is a repair rod that does a
wonderful job of joining aluminum (cast, rolled, extruded, romanced ...)
at low temperatures. Can be done with a propane torch and is very easy.
I got it at the annual fly-in at Oshkosh. You can find it other places
but popular there because of repair of certain aircraft parts.
If you feel wild, or know someone that is, I could send you a couple of
rods of this stuff and some instructions and you could try to reattach
the unattached.

The broken fittings are brass castings, and Rocky is now in Edmonton. I
am hoping the repair guy calls with a more definitive answer in the next
week, or so. I believe the front of the case, is stainless steel. Thanks
for the kind offer, Todd.
