Topic: How many beans in my popper? (27 lines)

I just framed this for a friend - maybe it can help you too...
I am roasting mostly by popper at the moment. One thing I would
recommend is this: Load 4oz (˝cup) of beans in the popper, turn it
on. If the beans are moving all over the place, add about 10 beans.
COntinue until the beans just "percolate", you know bubble around a
bit. This should be the right amount.
Turn off the popper, dump out the beans and weigh them. Now you know
the weight of how many beans the popper is optimal to roast. For all
future roasts, start with this amount.
Roast away.
Or as Dennis True says, Roast Aweigh....
Cheers,
Brett
