Funny, I don't see your reply as having anything to do with coffee. I don't
see the OT in your subject line either. Do you have a point to make or are
you "trying to" be superior? I hope the topic returns to coffee and not to
what you want to write about, which is obviously OT.
Les, I can see how your topic concerns coffee. And I too have learned a lot
about coffee on this board. One of the things I have learned is that not
everyone want to talk about coffee. Some want to talk about how superior
they are: i.e. Angelo.
I enjoy the wonderful coffees Tom offers and among the current offerings, I
really like the opportunity to try coffees that have been through the CoE
auction system. These coffees are the best of the best. They have been
filtered by the local judges and then filtered again by the international
judges. And we know exactly what they think about these coffees, as their
impressions are posted for all to see. How much more transparent can they
It is a no brainer to buy CoE coffees. I know it is not only Tom's
interpretation, it is a bunch of judges from all over the world that have
rated these coffees. And because they rate 86 at a CoE event, I think they
would rate higher in the real world when compared to normal/traditional
I say "Thanks GOD for gifting Tom with the ability to discern the flavors,
aromas and nuances of the many coffees he offers here". His ability to
explain and convey the many varieties of coffees is amazing.
Angelo, grow up and smell the roses. You are not that special. And in
spite of you, the "beat goes on".

Funny, I didn't see a word about coffee homeroasting in the post
below. Nor did I see the "OT" warning in the subject line.. It seems
that the best way to get the subject back to coffee is to write about
coffee and NOT about OT posts..
The beat goes on...
