I think the pressurestat in my ECM Giotto is sticking. It went up to
2 bar and wasn't stopping. The OPV finally kicked in. Do these have
to be replaced? Mine is about two years old. If so I think I would go
with one with a tighter deadband than the stock valve.

Mine is normally about .2 bar also. I descaled about two months ago
when the problem first popped up, but it is coming back again. Mine
is intermittent as to when it sticks. Pstats sometimes need
replacing and I think mine is about to give it up. I just can't leave
it on without watching it now. Fortunately Pstats aren't too
expensive. If I am replacing the stat I may see what is available for
my options over the stock.
