Topic: OT +Firefox 2 login issue fix for Mac (& other?) users (3 msgs / 71 lines)

Ok, beating the dead bird one more time. I think I may have found the fix. The latest versions of FF
and T-Bird no longer have a box to tell the program "go away and quit bothering me" when there is
either a domain mismatch or expired certificate. This was done for our own good, of course...
There is an extension that returns the nice little box for the check mark. i have installed it and tested
it with an expired certificate (T-Bird) and it works. I will install in FF later today as i can not shut it
down right now.
Here is the URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2131/
Beware that this removes the idiot proofing.
SSL 3.0 wraps SSL 2.0 so this really should not be a problem, but.... it is a software program.
