Michael B aka espressoperson and his son visited yesterday. They are =
spending 4 days on Oahu and then three days on The big island. We pulled =
shots talked and had a great time. Coffee and conversation were =
excellent. If any other list members are planning a trip to Hawaii let =
me know it is always a pleasure for me to share my coffee with those who =
appreciate it.

I would love nothing more, Barry, but it will be a while, if ever....

Barry,
I'll be in Hawaii for about a month starting the end of May. I'll be on a
hectic & changing schedule, but maybe we'll have a chance to get together.
How close are you to Pearl Harbor?

Nothing is more than 12 miles away. The island is only 27 by 14 miles. =
Let me know as soon as the time gets nearer

All the great things to see and do in Hawaii and the trip to Barry's home
may be the highlight!
Brewtus and Mazzer taking pride of place on the classy granite counter,
freshly roasted and rested beans galore, naked portafilter and bodum clear
glass cups to show off Barry's glorious shots and expose my poor beginner
attempts - no place to hide! Crema, body, mouthfeel; that machine really
cranks out quality shots and microfoam. Plus when the shot is Harar Horse
30, properly dialed in, it doesn't get any better.
Barry's better half had the other angles covered too. Thoughtful enough
to sit my non-coffee-drinkiing son down in front of a super playstation
screen so he was not bored with our coffee compulsion. With our packed
itinerary I was worried we might not be able to connect - I'm sure happy we
were able to make it.
Mahalo !
We are in the Honolulu airport waiting for a flight to the big island. A
quick chance to wifi a reply before heading for Kona country. Looking
forward to checking out some of the advice I received on and off list.
